A Note on Silvio’s Photography
What draws me to Silvio's work is his understanding of light as a passage between the visible and the unseen.
Through light, time, memory, and presence quietly converge.
I find a meaningful resonance here with my own concept of "Zero-horizon" — a space where the boundary between the outer world and inner perception begins to dissolve.
Silvio does not simply photograph places; he listens to what they hold, allowing light and time to reveal what cannot be forced into an image.
His photographs become encounters rather than representations, leaving something beyond the visible image.
This is where I feel a deep affinity with his work: the attempt to make the ephemeral perceptible without possessing it.
Photography becomes a quiet passage between what we see and what we sense, between the fleeting moment and what remains.
