Biography

I was born in Rome in 1961 and attended the ItalianCinema Training Center in Rome.
After the CIAC photography course I attended the Italian Army Photographer course during my compulsory military service. During the stop I worked as an Artillery Photographer with specialization in aerial photogrammetry, on vehicles of the Italian Army's Light Aviation.
Back to civilian life I worked as an assistant photographer in the photographic studio of a former CIAC professor of mine in Rome.
I then opened my own business as a professional photographer for a few years, and I shifted my interest in aerial photogrammetry over time.
Married for almost thirty years with Mariko, after the wedding in Rome we moved to Japan, where I still reside.
Lately I work as a freelancer and my interest has landed in documentary photography, reportage, which are that part of photography that tries to fill the gaps in photography by combining the image of the text that helps to understand the cultural background of the shot and to stimulate the correct , conscious feeling towards what is seen portrayed.

Dopo il corso di fotografia CIAC ho frequentato il corso di Fotografo dell'Esercito Italiano durante il servizio militare obbligatorio. Durante la sosta ho lavorato come Fotografo di Artiglieria con specializzazione in fotogrammetria aerea, su veicoli dell'Aviazione Leggera dell'Esercito Italiano.
Tornato alla vita civile ho lavorato come assistente fotografo nello studio fotografico

Sposato da quasi trent'anni con Mariko, dopo il matrimonio a Roma ci siamo trasferiti in Giappone,

Ultimamente lavoro come libero professionista e il mio interesse è approdato alla fotografia documentaria, al reportage, che sono quella parte della fotografia che cerca di colmare le lacune della fotografia unendo l'immagine del testo che aiuta a capire il retroterra culturale dello scatto e a stimolare il sentimento corretto e consapevole verso ciò che si vede rappresentato.

時間の経過とともに航空写真測量へと関心を変える。

最近はフリーランサーとして働いており、ドキュメンタリー写真やルポルタージュに興味を持つ。ドキュメンタリー写真は、写真の文化的背景を理解するのに役立つテキストの画像を組み合わせることで、写真のギャップを埋めようとしています。描かれているものに対して正しい、意識的な感情を刺激します。
